Patient Mahalo Luau
Aloha! As our patient we invite you to our luau! This is our way to say “Mahalo” or in other words “thank you” for being our wonderful patients and being part of our Atascadero Hills Dental Ohana (family)! All you need to do is register on-line or at the front desk of our practice and obtain your free “Mahalo Pass”. Guests over 8yrs old are $15. Guest tickets are available at the practice.
Dental Mission to Samoa
The luau also announces our Dental Mission to the South Pacific Island of Samoa. Co-owners of Atascadero Hills Dental, Drs Preston and Nathan’s grandmother Susiana was born and raised in Samoa, and now it’s time to give back to the village, where the family is from. The doctors had their first dental experience, when they were invited to help at a remote clinic in the islands of Tonga. From that experience they decided to become dentist and created a vision of someday being able to do a month long dental mission to Samoa. Upon graduation from UCLA dental school, Dr. Nathan and his wife Ava and their two small boys, traveled to Samoa without any guarantees of finding a job. With the help of family, Dr. Nathan was able to start his dental career in Samoa and was the only US trained dentist on the island, during the two years they lived there.
Currently there are no dental care services near the family village of Tufutafoe, Samoa. Drs. Preston and Nathan, their families, and others from our Atascadero Hills Dental Ohana, will be traveling to Samoa in the summer of 2024 to provide needed dental care and education. As you come to the luau, you become part of our mission and efforts. You can also provide Dental Mission donations, 100% of which will be applied to clinical equipment, supplies and logistics needed to provide the village with the best dental care we can.
